Camp Second Wind Passion and Purpose
Camp Second Wind was created from a passion for helping people connect with their spiritual desires and concerns. Camp Second Wind allows others time to share their journey and story. Camp Second Wind encourages exploring the freedom to accept that you can’t cross a creek the same way. And with this exploring, maybe ask, “Are you at a fork in the road?” If so, together, we will discern just what direction your dreams may be waiting for. As your Spiritual Director, I am dedicated to helping you set sail and even helping when the waters are rough. Together, we will explore what brings peacefulness and joy along with a Heart of Gratitude.

To begin I would like to say Thank You for your interest, your curiosity as to just what is Spiritual Direction. Spiritual Direction looks for how God/Higher Power is working, calling, prodding and inviting new ways to find that personal relationship we may be desiring.

Spiritual Direction and my journey, I feel confident, has opened many doors. My commitment and passion for Spiritual Direction developed after I received my training to become a Certified Spiritual Director from the Mercy Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I received my Master's from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. With this journey, I worked as a Chaplain for 15 years, earning my Board Certification from the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
